Answer

  • When creating volumes in System Manager, an adaptive QoS policy is automatically set by default
  • Example: In newly created test3 volume, the Value-Fixed QoS policy is applied to the volume

This is configured when going through the volume creation wizard. By clicking on more options, you can view the specified level.

This can be disabled by changing the setting to custom and none.

  1. When adding a LUN, click on More Options at the bottom

  1. Under PERFORMANCE SERVICE LEVEL, the dropdown by default will be something like Value

  1. In the ASSIGN QOS POLICY GROUP section, under the Existing radio button, change the drop down to none
