Applies to

  • ONTAP System Manager 9.13.1PX

Issue

Using LUN creation wizard to create a new LUN, clicking "save" results in an error banner:
There is not enough storage space to add a LUN with the specified storage requirements

  • Performance Service Level "custom" is selected
  • Manual placement option is used and a Flashpool or SSD aggregate is selected
  • Confirmed there is enough space on the selected aggregate

Despite the error message, the LUN and container volume are still created.
