Issue

  • Access to System Manager starts to fail by ERR_SSL_KEY_USAGE_INCOMPATIBLE even though there is no change on ONTAP.
The webpage at https://<CLUSTER_MANAGEMENT_IP>/sysmgr/v4/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
  • Browsers may report 
    • ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
    • ERR_SSL_KEY_USAGE_INCOMPATIBLE

  • ONTAP has not been upgraded since the SSL certificate was generated.
