'TCAM region is not configured' seen Cisco 3132Q when applying RCF 1.8 or later

Issue

  • When applying the 1.8 RCF (or later) to cluster switch the following alert is seen,
Unable to perform the action due to incompatibility:  Module 1 returned status "TCAM region is
not configured. Please configure TCAM region and retry the command"
 
  • Additional errors seen with this issue:  
    ERROR: Failed to write VSH commands
command failed: port not compatible:[Port priority-flow-control]
** You can use force option to override the port's parameters
** (e.g. "channel-group X force")
** Use "show port-channel compatibility-parameters" to get more information on failure
