Issue

While preparing for an ONTAP upgrade, the pre-upgrade check alerts with alert similar to the following

Example:

Unsupported switch model Model_description in target ONTAP release 9.12.1P10

  • Cisco Ethernet Switch Compatibility Matrix shows that the firmware and RCF are compatible with the target release
