  • Frequent SCN events observed in ERR dumps logs:

2025/03/28-12:26:59 (PDT), [SCN-1001], 14194036, FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, BrocadeG620, SCN queue overflow for process 0.weblinker.fcg.

2026/07/14-17:01:38 (IST), [SCN-1001], 2920367, SLOT 1 | FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, xxxxxx, SCN queue overflow for process snmpd.

2026/07/14-17:12:38 (IST), [SCN-1001], 2920385, SLOT 1 | FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, xxxxxxx, SCN queue overflow for process snmpd.
2026/07/14-17:36:38 (IST), [SCN-1001], 2920395, SLOT 1 | FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, xxxxxxx, SCN queue overflow for process snmpd.

  • To Islote this Slow Drain Device/quarantined events follow steps on the connected devices associated with ports
    • Physical connectivity and cabling.
    • SFP/optic health on the attached devices.
    • Device firmware and software versions.
    • Virtual device configuration and pathing.
    • Overall device health and performance.
