Issue

  • Brocade replacement CP blades ship from NetApp parts stock with Fabric OS (FOS) v8.2.1, which is End Of Support (EOS).
  • As of the writing of this KB the supported FOS version 9.2.2x.
  • Fixed port switches would typically require a labor intensive multi-hop upgrade. Director class switches leverage HIgvh Availability (HA) to achieve this in 1 hop.
