Issue

  • Firmware upgrade on brocade switch failed with below error:

switch:FID128:maintenance> firmwaredownload -v
There is not enough free space left on the switch.
Please use cleanup command to free up disk space.
switch:FID128:maintenance>

  • Flash is less than 100%:

switch:FID128:maintenance> mapssam --show flash
Showing Flash Usage:
   Flash Usage   : 55%

  • df -h indicates secondary partition is full:

switch:FID128:maintenance-service> df -h
