  • All switch ports associated with the affected VMware Host are online and RX, TX values of switch ports are in optimal range.

Index Port Address  Media Speed   State       Proto
==================================================
0   0   010000   id    N16   Online      FC  F-Port  50:06:01:6d:xx:xx:xx:xx
1   1   010100   id    N16   Online      FC  F-Port  50:06:01:69:xx:xx:xx:xx

  • Validate zoning on both the switches in the fabric.
    • The example shows validated zone members that match or partially match the specified zone name:
switch:admin> zoneshow --validate zone1
Defined configuration:
 zone:    zone1    20:1c:00:05:xx:xx:xx:xx*; 20:1d:00:05:xx:xx:xx:xx

Effective configuration:
 zone:    zone1    20:1c:00:05:xx:xx:xx:xx*
        20:1d:00:05:xx:xx:xx:xx
