How to troubleshoot CRC errors with BES-53248 cluster switches

  • Broadcom BES-53248 Cluster Switch

Description

  • Similar to Cisco Nexus Switches, the BES-53248 switch uses Cut-Through switching, which means it forwards received errors out of all ports. 
  • This can cause multiple cluster ports to show received CRC errors when only one link is faulty. 
  • The following steps will assist in isolating the port that may be causing the issue.
