Issue

Recovery guru reports: Failure Entry 2: AUX_ALT_COMM_LINK_ERROR-Recovery Failure Type Code: 503

check if the link is reporting up or down with the following CMD's

Run ip -s link as diag user (or check dom0-daily-diagnostic-%.7z in the log bundle) 

diag@eos-a:~$ ip -s link show alt0
3: alt0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
