Issue

  • After replacing a failed Host Interface Card (HIC) in the controller, the controller did not come online and entered a suspended/lockdown state.
  • Seven-segment display:

   Code: 0E LU
Condition: SOD reboot Limit exceeded
value = 0 = 0x0

  • Observed below errors in eos_console.log:

12/12/25-05:26:38 (mlxFwDownload): ERROR: download: Timedout. No response from base OS
12/12/25-05:26:38 (LstartInfiniBandTra): WARN:  ibHcaDownload:345, failed to download error 0x800000f5
