  • In the E-Series AutoSupport data, the RECOVERY-GURU-PROCEDURES file contains the following failure entry. The same entry may be found in SANtricity System Manager management application.
CACHE_BACKUP_DEVICE_INSUFFICIENT_CAPACITY-Recovery Failure Type Code: 253 reported 
  • In the E-Series AutoSupport data, the CONTROLLERS section in the storage-array-profile  log file indicates that the cache backup device status is unknown.
