How to identify switch port information on StorageGRID storage nodes

Description

  • During network troubleshooting,  the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) may be leveraged to identify what switch ports are connected for certain interfaces, such as HIC1, HIC2, HIC3 and/or HIC4.
  • This can be performed from the base-os of a storage node over SSH with the procedure below.
