Description

This KB will provide general guidelines on how to change SG100/1000 with Admin and Gateway functions to a standalone Gateway node.

The scenario for this is:

  • SG100/SG1000 was installed as a Primary Admin node with Gateway node functionalities
  • To reduce risk of hardware failures, the Primary and/or Secondary Admin node functionalities needed to be migrated to a Virtual Machine based node
  • The SG100/SG1000 needs to be used for the purpose of Gateway node only
