Resolution
- Confirm that all nodes are up and running:
- "Cassandra Repair Service Not Available" alerts occur after node's replacement
- If there was a node connectivity issue and it was resolved, the alert should clear in 24 to 48 hours
- Try restarting the service:
- Confirm that there are no network or NTP connectivity issues:
- Confirm there are no high utlization issues such as
low available node memory
- Verify if there is an expansion or decommission ongoing. Re-asses the alert once the expansion or decommission is finished.
- Upgrade to the latest StorageGRID 11.5 or StorageGRID 11.6 version as these versions have several fixes for known issues with the reaper service
