Issue

StorageGRID reports storage appliance link down on network port <port>  after a network related event.

  • After the network connectivity is restored, the port shows Up from StorageGRID > Storage Node > Network:

  • The  Storage appliance link down on network port alert is still reported, even if the network recovers.

  • Running cat /sys/class/net/hic*/carrier via SSH session, the status is 0 from the affected node:

  • Running ip addr show command, the affected port is DOWN from the affected node:
