  • Additional lead time may be required for more complex activities such as switch or RCF upgrades, or when additional planning, coordination or approvals are necessary.
Standard Lead Time Keystone Services recommends a minimum lead time of 7 business days for all planned upgrade activities.
Purpose of the Lead Time Allows sufficient time for pre-upgrade validation, system health reviews, compatibility checks, resource planning, and change management activities.
Scenarios Requiring Additional Lead Time
  • Upgrades involving Ethernet switches
  • RCF (Reference Configuration File) upgrade
  • Environments requiring IMT compatibility reviews
  • If any activities require Field Engineer (FE) coordination
  • Resource and internal CAB change management approval process

NOTE: It is recommended for customers to engage Keystone Services as early as possible to ensure adequate planning time and successful upgrade execution.
