SnapCenter claims an SVM is missing in Storage Connections while attempting to configure HANA Plug-database

  • SnapCenter Server 4.3 and higher
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for SAP HANA (SCHANA) 4.3 and higher

Issue

When trying to configure an automatically discovered HANA database in SnapCenter 4.3, the following message is shown:

Provide valid values to connect to the database. Reason: Failure in Filesystem plug-in discovery:
[Unable to get storage details for NASDir: <SVM_IP>:/<volume>/<directory> Make sure storage system is added in SnapCenter Server.]: <SVM_name>

However, the SVM or Cluster is already configured in Storage Connections
