SCV fails to start services after deployment if admin password has special characters

  • NetApp Data Broker (NDB)

Issue

  • After deploying the SCV OVA, the appliance services appear as not running in the maintenance console, and the dashboard does not load properly.
  • Trying to restart the services in the maintenance console yields the following error messages:
Job for controlplane.service failed because a timeout was exceeded.
See "systemcmctl status controlplane.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details
A dependency job for sqservice.service failed
A dependency job for protectionservice-rbac.service failed
 
  • SCV is unable to present Dashboard data
