SCSQL Log backup retention fails to delete the snapshot

Issue

  • SCSQL Log Backup retention fails on the (HLD) Log Directory as it tries to delete the latest log snapshot that was created as a part of current backup job
  • Job fails with the error:
Error: Remove Snapshot '<Snapshot name>' failed on volume '<SnapInfo_Volume>'.
This Snapshot copy is currently used as a reference Snapshot copy by one or more SnapMirror relationships. Deleting the Snapshot copy can cause future SnapMirror operations to fail.
