  • NetApp SolidFire Active IQ and cluster UI report an Upgrade in progress alert
  • Normal drive and node removal API calls and GUI options are not accepted while cluster is in an upgrade process
  • This article explains the recommended procedure for removing a failed storage node during an Element upgrade
