Issue

  • Oracle mount/unmount/catalog/uncatalog REST APIs fail with 404 on 6.2.1 and 6.2.2 — route parameter \{name} wrongly validated as a host name
  • In SnapCenter 6.2.1 and 6.2.2, Oracle RAC/ASM backup mount operations submitted through the following REST API fail with HTTP 404:

POST /api/6.1/backups/SCO/{backup}/mount
  • The response is returned as a bare \{}404 Not Found{} with an empty body, even when the backup, target host, ASM configuration, and resource are valid.
  • No job is created, and no corresponding entry is written to the job logs. This makes the issue appear to be a missing-backup problem, although the backup can be verified through other REST APIs.

The same operation succeeds through:
  • SnapCenter GUI
  • `New-SmMountBackup` PowerShell cmdlet
  • The clone workflow:
  • `POST /plugins/SCO/resources/clonespecification`
  • `POST /plugins/SCO/resources/clone`
