Issue

  • Customers would like to increase the timeout value when entering in the maint credentials from the ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere maintenance console from vCenter's remote console.
  • Customers with long complex passwords due to their organizational security policies don't have enough time to enter in the password before it times out causing them to re-enter the username and password.
  • Customers that have security policies that restrict copy and paste functionality can't simply paste in their maint password into the console.
