Issue

  • OTV 10.4 does not have the ability to select which hosts or host clusters are able to mount new datastores when users provision datastores at the datacenter level in vCenter via the OTV datastore provisioning wizard.
  • Users would like the option to right click a datacenter and be able to select which hosts or host clusters are able to mount the new datastore that is being creating during the provisioning task.
  • Other storage vendors have this feature in their vCenter plugin and customers would like OTV to have this same feature implemented in a future release.
