OnCommand Insight Data Warehouse reporting portal is not accessible - refused to connect

Issue

When trying to access the OnCommand Insight Data Warehouse reporting portal you receive the following error.

This site can’t be reached
dwh-reporting.server.com refused to connect.

  • When trying to start DB2 - DB2COPY1 - DB2-0 service you receive the following error. 

The DB2 - DB2COPY1 - DB2-0 service failed to start due to the following error: 
The service did not start due to a logon failure.

  • The Windows Event Viewer - System shows the following error

The DB2REMOTECMD_DB2COPY1 service was unable to log on as .\db2admin with the currently configured password due to the following error: 
Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

Or

The DB2-0 service was unable to log on as .\db2admin with the currently configured password due to the following error: The password for this account is expired.

  • The below error can resolved by adding db2admin  account to the local Windows Administrator group

The DB2 - DB2COPY1 - DB2-0 service failed to start due to the following error: Access is denied
