  1. Check System Health by using ONTAP System Manager and/or Digital Advisor Health Check Dashboard 
  2. Read recommendations and articles provided by Active IQ and take appropriate actions 
  3. Active IQ relies on AutoSupport (ASUP) data to analyse system health and provide suggestions
    • Verify AutoSupport is properly configured and enabled
  4. Ensure ONTAP version is compatible with system and components (e.g., VMware vSphere hosts) using NetApp Interoperability Matrix (IMT) 
  5. Review Release Notes and Documentation of your ONTAP version to identify known issues, bug fixes and relevant changes
