Cannot execute the setup login banner and enable audit log actions in the AIQUM UI

Issue

  • When trying to setup a login banner or enable audit log from the AIQUM UI the management actions fail suggesting CLI as a workaround
  • The following messages are observed:
 
Description
Enable audit logging for the storage VM
Status
Failed
SOLUTION
Audit logging is disabled on the storage VM.
It is recommended that you enable audit logging so you can capture and manage important support and availability information.
Enable auditing on the storage VM using the ONTAP command 'vserver audit enable-vserver vserver_name!
FAILURE REASON
Storage VM audit log is disabled after attempt to enable it.
 
Description
Set login banner for the cluster 
Status
Failed
SOLUTION
The cluster has no login banner set.
The login banner for the cluster should be enabled to increase security by making access restrictions clear.
Configure the cluster login banner using the ONTAP command 'security login banner modify -vserver admin_vserver_name-message message!
FAILURE REASON
Login banner is not set after attempt to set it.
