Getting Started

Note: When high CPU usage is observed, even if the environment is not experiencing any AIQUM software defects and the number of monitored nodes is below the maximum number of a tier in the resource recommendations table, adding CPU resources may be required, depending on the number of storage objects. 

Common Issues
 
Symptom Solution
  • AIQUM becomes unresponsive
    • Exception occurred while detecting scale db pool issue: java.lang.NullPointerException: null
    •  ocum kernel: Rate limit exceeded
  
  • AIQUM reports AIQCASecure database lock
    • Collection from <ONTAP_IP>_<AIQUM>_202311251252.0.files Failed with error - database is locked
    • File "peewee.py", line 3237, in execute_sql sqlite3.OperationalError: database is locked
  
  • AIQUM server hangs when running on virtual machines
  • Vulnerability scanners can trigger high cpu and memory in Unified Manager 9.13 and 9.14
