Issue

  • SMHV does not delete snapshots as per retention with the error seen in the SMHV job report:

An error occured while deleting snapshot. continuing with rest of the snapshots (if any) Error: Invalid snapdrive response for snapshot deletion request

  • SDW Logs <snpdrvdbglog.log> will include the following on the same timestamp:

PID:12860            TID:6976               FilerHelper.cpp@124                      Transport Protocol is not set to connect the storage system <SVM_FQDN>.
HRESULT 0xc0040457.
