Issue

Although the mail server is configured, DataFabric Manager (DFM) is unable to send emails for alerts. The host reports that it is unable to deliver mail to the administrator. The DFM events log shows the following error message:

Oct 20 22:00:31 [DFMEvent:ERROR]: alarm 7, event 3235: failed to deliver email alert to XXXXXXXX
Oct 20 22:00:31 [DFMEvent:DEBUG]: expecting 250, SMTP server replied 501 5.5.4 Invalid Address
