Issue

  • Communication between ESXi and vCenter intermittently disrupted and reconnected
  • Virtual machines hosted on the ESXi server were affected.
  • Commands such as ls /vmfs/volumes/ and df are unresponsive on the ESXi host.
  • Host was forcibly rebooted as commands to evacuate virtual machines were unresponsive.
  • Post-reboot, the issue seemed resolved, with commands functioning normally.
  • No HW failure from IPMI event
