HCC login to mNode IP fails with "Something went wrong during the login process" error

Applies to

  • Element Management Node (mNode)
  • Management Services 2.15.28 and above
  • NetApp Element software 12.2 and above

Issue

Users are unable to log into HCC on the Element management node via IP (example: https://x.x.x.x/hcc).

  • These login attempts may result in the error (the URL may redirect to mvip and cannot show the login page):

"Something went wrong during the login process. Please contact your technical support engineer and reference code unauthorized_client and request ID: <long request id string>"
