Compute nodes running VMware ESXi 7.0 Update 2 may encounter long reboot times or storage path errors during boot

Issue
After updating to or installing VMware ESXi 7.0 Update 2 either or both behaviors may manifest when the BMC virtual console is open during boot:
- ESXi boot times increase significantly
- The ESXi boot log reflects storage path claiming issues during the storage initialization phase. For example:
