Issue

  • A virtual machine (VM) became unresponsive due to the associated NetApp volume reaching 100% utilization.
  • The volume contained a thick-provisioned LUN mapped to a VMware host. A significant snapshot spill contributed to the volume's sudden growth and subsequent full condition.
