Answer

  • If the master node is failed, new master node will be selected and the primaries of this original master node will be moved(re-directed) to other normal nodes.
  • In general, a master node failure will not causes service outage.
  • In special case if the detailed investigation is required, start from KB Troubleshooting SolidFire Element OS.
Note: The KB requires Partner access level.
