Issue

  • Node fails to boot with the following console output:

...
Running full memory initialization.
MEMORY WARNING: Uncertain failure Major Code 0xED Minor Code 0x09
ERROR: [55] Memory not installed
ERROR: DXE IPL not found

  • Specific DIMM slot information is not included in the error messages
  • This can occur with any node reboot. If performing an ONTAP upgrade, this issue can cause the upgrade to fail or pause
