How do customers obtain BES Ethernet switch portal access

Process:

  1. Requester will engage BES-Switch Global Support (Service Provider) via:
  2. Service Provider will collect required information from requester.
  3. Service Provider will contact Broadcom for authorization to move forward with providing credentials.
  4. Service Provider will provide to Broadcom all information collected from requester.
  5. Broadcom will respond back to Service Provider with authorization or denial.
  6. Service Provider will communicate back to requester
  7. If approved, requester will receive email with credentials and URL. (one-time process)
  8. If denied, requester will receive email stating request was denied

Information that will need to be provided to Broadcom's Service Provider:

Indicate you are a Broadcom customer
First and Last Name
Email Address
Phone Number
Device Model Number
Device Serial Number

Note: If the call is made ahead of installation, and a serial # is not available, a customer name and reference to NetApp is sufficient
