Answer

The behavior of the DCPM (Destage Control Power Module) Destage status LED is as follows.

  • The LED is blinking when destage is running
  • The LED light on when destage is complete and the system is loader status
  • The LED turn off when destage is completed and the system is running

Additional Information

Destage is performed at the following timing

  • Initial boot-up
  • The weekly silent destage/restage test
  • Trigger AC power off
