NVRAM battery reports discharge FET is off

Issue

  • NVRAM battery reports EMERGENCY error discharge FET is off.
  • After 2 minutes, error recovers automatically discharge FET is on.
  • EMS log:

[?] Sun Jun 20 22:22:24 JST [hostname: env_mgr: nvram.battery.dischargeFET.off:EMERGENCY]: The NVRAM battery discharge FET is off. To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 5 minutes.
[?] Sun Jun 20 22:23:15 JST [hostname: env_mgr: nvram.battery.dischargeFET.normal:info]: The NVRAM battery discharge FET is on.
[?] Sun Jun 20 22:23:24 JST [hostname: env_mgr: callhome.battery.failure:EMERGENCY]: Call home for BATTERY (discharge FET off) CRITICAL.
