Issue

  • SCE Backup fails with the below error.
  • Snapshot/s can't be delete/d manually or through SnapCenter GUI.
  • Snapshots seems to be in a busy state.

Activity 'Registering Backup and Applying Retention' failed with error: Retention : Error: Remove Snapshot snapshot_name failed on volume volume_name.

Snapshot copy snapshot_nameof volume volume_name in Vserver vserver_name has not expired or is locked.

Use the "snapshot show -fields owners, expiry-time" command to view the expiry and lock status of the Snapshot copy..

Error: Remove Snapshot snapshot_name failed on volume volume_name.

Activity 'Starting Exchange Backup' failed with error: The following activities failed: Registering Backup and Applying Retention, Grouping Resources. Please check the activities for detailed error message.
