Issue

  •  Unable to connect to the external storage tier to StorageGRID.
    • mgwd: ktls.failed:notice]: "The TLS connections have failed several times with remote host '10.XX.XX.XX' in IPspace '429496XXXX', for which the latest reason given is: OpenSSL: error:14090086:SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed."
  • You see the following alert in the OnCommand System Manager under the storage tiering:
  • Also you see the storage tier status will be unavailable from CLI command ouput:
  • cluster_02::*> storage aggregate object-store show
            Aggregate      Object Store Name Availability
            -------------- ----------------- -------------
            aggr01         sgws_123          unavailable
            aggr02         sgws_123          unavailable
