Issue

  • ESXi hosts report PowerOn Reset  Power-on Reset occurred on naa.xxxxx error frequently
  • For example, from the vmkernel.log, events similar to the following are seen:
2022-08-09T08:02:15.995Z cpu42:2098030)ScsiCore: 1823: Power-on Reset occurred on naa.600a09803xxxxxxxxxxxx
 
2022-08-09T08:02:16.008Z cpu33:2097270)ScsiDeviceIO: 4161: Cmd(0x45d90168c588) 0x28, CmdSN 0x1d1 from world 2097521 to dev "naa.600a09803xxxxxxxxxxxx" failed H:0x0 D:0x18 P:0x3
