Issue

  • EMS and secd logs:

[000.006.020]  ERR  :  Error: Acquire UNIX credentials procedure failed
[000.006.028]  ERR  :  **[     5] FAILURE: 'Ldap' configuration not available
[000.006.038]  ERR  :    [     5] Failed to get a user name for ID 1000 using UNIX authorization source LDAP, Error: 6943
[000.006.045]  ERR  :    [     5] Could not get a user name for ID 1000 using any NS-SWITCH authorization source
[000.010.139]  debug:  Logged EMS message for journal.  Status = 0  { in secdLogJournal() at server/secd_rpc_server.cpp:982

  • Name services contain LDAP

::> ns-switch show -vserver <vserver name>

  • No LDAP configured:

::> ldap show -vserver <vserver name>
