Is it possible to configure snapshot reserve in volume create workflow in System Manager?

Answer

When creating a volume, the amount of snapshot reserve cannot be modified.

Workaround:

  • Edit volume after creation and modify the value from default of 5% to intended value.
  • Use CLI to create volume and specify the percent-snapshot-space

vol create -vserver <vserver> -volume <volume> -aggregate <aggregate> -size <size> -percent-snapshot-space
