KMIP Server Connection Failure after E2800 controller replacement in SG5700

Issue

  • After replacing E2800 controller in a SG5700 system, following alerts are reported in SANtricity System Manager, even though all drives are optimal:
    • KMIP_SERVER_CONNECTION_FAILURE-Recovery Failure Type Code: 486
    • SECURITY_GET_KEY-Recovery Failure Type Code: 331
  • Under Settings > SystemKey Management Method is set to External when it originally was Internal
