The back-up batteries do not have an expiration date

Additional Information

  • For Systems:

     Battery maintenance is required after 6 months of storage to ensure the battery has sufficient capacity at the time of system start-up.

  • For Batteries:
     A battery shelf life date is determined for each FRU unit and the FRU must be installed by this date to ensure the battery has sufficient capacity at time of installation.
