Issue

  • Recovery GURU reports the following alerts that self resolve and resurface:

Failure Entry 1: NET_NTP_QUERY_FAIL-Recovery Failure Type Code: 466

Failure Entry 2: NET_NTP_SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE-Recovery Failure Type Code: 467

  • Major Event Log reports inconsistent unreachable events and controller clocks set:

B:3/7/23,4:30:17 PM (16:30:17)126652 2289 The DNS/NTP configuration on this controller is either incorrect or all the NTP servers are unreachable over the network - Shelf 99, Bay B<--CRITICAL

B:3/7/23, 4:29:44 PM (16:29:44) 126651 2294 Either the NTP server's resolved or configured IP address is wrong or the IP address is unavailable via the attached network - Shelf 99, Bay B
