Run IOmeter 1.1.0, this version allows you to write true random data to the disk so de-duplication will not be a factor.

Additional Information

  • IOmeter is storage testing software tool that simulates application input/output to main storage on hard disk, SSD or storage networking devices.
  • When running IOmeter prior to version 1.1.0, the pattern written to the disk is repeated after an amount of time which causes de-duplication to acknowledge the repeating data requests.
