Issue

Multiple storage nodes  within an Element cluster are reporting a interface down alert

  • Error code: networkConfig
    • Details: Network interface eth<x> is down or cable is unplugged.

 

Network issues may lead to various errors as described below; however, these errors should automatically resolve once the network issues have been addressed.

  • Error code: authenticationServiceFault
    • Details: Element Auth container has been in the NotReady state for too long on node 10. Please contact support if this problem persists.
  • Error code: volumesDegraded
    • Details: Local replication and synchronization of the following volumes is in progress. Progress of the synchronization can be seen in the Running Tasks window. [XXX] Replication and syncing finished for volumes: [XXX, XXX, XX, XX, XX, XX, XXX]
  • Error code: blockServiceUnhealthy
    • Details: Block service(s) on more than one node are unhealthy. Data unavailability is possible and rebuild may be blocked.
